Nick Hannah has been placed on injured reserve (IR) for the 2009 UFL season.

Hannah, a linebacker from Eastern Oregon University, injured his knee on September 18, during a scrimmage vs. The Las Vegas Locomotives at The United Football League training facility in Casa Grande, Arizona.

Hannah, who was an NAIA All-American, is a member of the California Redwoods (UFL).

Hannah has spent time in the CFL (Toronto and B.C.), NFL Europe (Amsterdam) and the NFL (Indianapolis Colts), respectively. While in NFL Europe, he led the league in special teams tackles.

Hannah has begun an aggressive rehabilitation program, and is expected to return for the 2010 season.
